Friday Fill-ins

#150
And...here we go!

(day late...oops)

1. The last band I saw live was Carrie Underwood was last solo artist but TSO was the last "band".
2. What I look forward to most on Thanksgiving is watching the Macy's Day parade with the kiddos, curled up in our jamies, eating the first batch of Christmas cookies while Daddy starts on the Christmas lights outside. (if you don't celebrate thanksgiving, insert your favorite holiday)
3. My Christmas/holiday shopping is 80% done and I'm making out my black friday list now.
4. Thoughts of sugar plums fill my head.
5. I wish I could wear shorts again.
6. Bagpipes...
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to scrapbooking and cleaning, tomorrow my plans include date night with hubby and Sunday, I want to go to church and then vegg with the family!

Praise report for Stellan

God is so good.

This baby has been on my heart for almost a year. Is it because he is so tiny to go through this, is it because his Mama is one tough girlie fighting for her baby, it is because he is so close in age to my Emmy and this could have been me? I don't know. What I know is that God is our healer, provider and comforter in all situations.

Here is are his updates: MckMama

He has come so far and still has a ways to go. Yesterday morning, my prayer was When Lord? When is the break through coming, when are you going to show you awesome power and miraculous healing. When????

That was before I left for work. After work, the answer was NOW!!! Thank you Jesus!!!

Praying for FULL recovery for Stellan.

I'm gonna miss this!

The kiddos saying the darnest things!

Jess asked me if I wanted to hear the song she wrote. She then started sing the "ABC song", and started beating on a bucket like a bongo (my hippy child?) She said she was getting ready for a concert tonight that starts in 3 mins, lol!

You'd never know she had the swine flu!

Halloween blessings!

Whether it be at home kickin' back with the family, at a party, walking the neighbor at church, I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween.

We had a nice one this year. Because Jess is getting over the flu, we decided not to go out and walk the neighborhood. We didn't want to take her to the church either, esp. around other little ones. I know we are being overly cautious but I would hope/think other parents who have the same consideration.

Instead, we went to a Trunk or Treat up the street at a local church. There was only a dozen cars and it was outside. Then we visit some relatives and headed home. Halloween is our pizza and caramel apple night!!! Daddy stayed on the porch and pass out the candy while the kiddos watched from the window. Family came over and we had a little party. It was a fun night. Looking forward to next year.
